Senior Accountant

Due to continuing growth here at A D Accounts Limited we are looking for a Senior Accountant to add to our existing team.

We operate on a results driven model which means that we are not worried about budgets and timesheets and instead focus on quality of work and building strong relationships with our ever growing client base. 

​

Your Responsibilities:

• Work alongside a manager on a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services and financial advice

• Prepare year-end financial statements, assist with audit planning and testing, tax returns and VAT Returns for your clients.

• Review the work of junior staff and support as needed

• Assist with accounting issues and provide solutions to clients as and when they arise

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) or part-qualified or Qualified by Experience

• Previously having worked in practice for at least 2 years

• Strong technical skills and knowledge of accounting and audit standards

• Sound knowledge of accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks, Farmplan, etc.), IRIS accountancy suite preferably but not essential.
